The girls basketball team get a win before the Christmas break, go 2-0 in league play.

The girl's basketball team traveled to Wichita Collegiate for a league matchup for the last game of the year before Christmas break on Friday, December 17th. The Ladycats were looking for another win after taking down the Rose Hill Rockets the previous Tuesday. The girls took the first quarter 15-11 and went into halftime up 28-17. The Spartans won the third quarter but the Ladycats were able to hold on for the 51-39 win. Three Cats broke into double digits as Teagan Garrison led the team in 17 points, Kamryn Nolan finished with 13, and Karlie Kanaga finished with 12 points. Nolan led the team in rebounds with 6 boards.

There were no JV or C-Team games due to a player shortage for Collegiate. The Cats are 2-4 on the season and 2-0 in league play. The girls will be back on the court after the Christmas break on Friday, January 7th at Wellington.
