The Wildcats have a strong showing in the All-State/Class awards from several publications.

The Mulvane football team closed out their 2021 season with an 8-2 record, 3-2 record in the AVCTL D4, regional champs, and section runner-up. The All-State / All-Class lists have been released and there were several Wildcats receiving All-State / All-Class recognition.

Senior Mason Ellis earned All-Class 4A 1st Team recognition from KSHSAA, Sports In Kansas, Kansas Coaches Association, and the Wichita Eagle. Mason also was listed in the Sports in Kansas top 100 4A seniors as well as the All-VYPE team (large schools 6A-4A). Mason was also a finalist for the Sports in Kansas 4A player of the year award. Ellis finished the season with 129 completions out of 229 attempts, 1569 passing yards, 13 passing TDs, 183 rushing attempts for 1152 yards, and 21 rushing TDs. Mason finished the season with 37.5 tackles (23 solo and 29 assists), 14 pass breakups, and 4 interceptions. Mason recently verbally committed to the University of Kansas football team.

Senior Hunter Seier earned All-Class 4A 1st Team recognition from KSHSAA, Sports In Kansas, and the Wichita Eagle. Seier was also listed in the Sports in Kansas top 100 4A seniors and als made the All-VYPE team (large schools 6A-4A). Hunter finished the season with 62 receptions for 955 yards and 10 TD receptions. Seier finished with 43 tackles (28 solo and 28 assists) and 1.5 tackles for loss, 13 pass breakups, and 4 interceptions. Hunter signed to play college baseball at Barton County CC.

Senior Ian Comer earned All-Class 4A Honorable Mention from KSHSAA, Sports in Kansas, and the Wichita Eagle. Comer was also listed in the Sports in Kansas top 100 4A seniors honorable mention. Ian finished the season with 34 receptions for 353 yards and 3 TD receptions. Comer finished the season with 37 tackles (15 solo and 44 assists), 3.0 sacks, 8.0 tackles for loss, 2 pass breakups, and 1 interception.

Senior Ethan Mendez earned All-Class 4A Honorable Mention from KSHSAA, Sports in Kansas, and the Wichita Eagle. Mendez was also listed in the Sports in Kansas top 100 4A seniors honorable mention. Ethan helped anchor the line and propel the Wildcats to 1728 rushing yards and 1636 passing yards this season.

Senior Trent Moses earned All-Class 4A Honorable Mention from the Wichita Eagle. Trent had a monster year and led the Cats with 58 tackles (32 solo and 52 assists), 8.0 sacks, 12.5 tackles for loss, 2 pass breakups, and 1 interception.

Senior Josh Phillips earned All-Class 4A Honorable Mention from KSHSAA and with Wichita Eagle. Josh finished the season with 29 tackles (18 solo and 22 assists), 2.0 sacks, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 4 pass breakups.

Junior Julien Myers earned All-Class 4A Honorable Mention from Sports in Kansas and with Wichita Eagle. Myers was also listed in the Sports in Kansas top 100 4A non-seniors honorable mention. Julien finished the season with 131 rushing attempts for 494 yards and 4 rushing touchdowns. Myers also finished with 22 receptions for 213 yards out of the backfield.

Sophomore Kaiden Abasolo earned All-Class 4A Honorable Mention from Sports in Kansas. Abasolo was also listed in the Sports in Kansas top 100 4A non-seniors honorable mention. Kaiden finished the season with 27 tackles (18 solo and 18 assists), 3.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, 1 safety, and 2 pass breakups.

Sophomore Austin Vanderhoof earned All-Class 4A Honorable Mention from Sports in Kansas. Vanderhoof was also listed in the Sports in Kansas top 100 4A non-seniors honorable mention. Austin helped anchor the line at the center position and to propel the Wildcats to 1728 rushing yards and 1636 passing yards this season.

Coach Daniel Myears was a finalist for Sports in Kansas 4A Coach of the Year. Myears finished up his 4th season at the helm, finishing the season at 8-3 and 3-2 in league play, and won his first regional championship, and sectional runner-up as the skipper.
