Payton was the lone Wildcat who qualified for state and she finished the first day with a 109 and tied for 54th place, just out of reach to qualify for the second day of state. "Payton is much improved from last year, cutting her average down from 124 to 112 this year and had several rounds that easily could have been in the 90's," said Coach Kollmeyer. "She's right there."
