"But when we step back and think about the season we had and what we accomplished, I couldn’t be more proud. We had so many questions coming into this season after not playing last year. These young men stepped up and exceeded all expectations. As I told them after the game in Salina, I am blessed to coach where I do and coach the young men I do. They fought their tails off for me all season and that is all I will ever ask. I’m very proud of all of them and proud I get to coach baseball at Mulvane High School."
