The varsity girls basketball team traveled to Winfield for the sub-state play-in game and it came down to just 1 point and the girls fell 32-33 to end their 2020-21 season. The girls finished the season with a 3-18 record and 0-10 in league play. The JV girls finished the season with a 7-9 record and the C-team finished with a 2-11 record.
The Varsity team had a shootout with Winfield as they were neck and neck for most of the ballgame but fell just short. Winfield jumped out ahead of the Ladycats in the first quarter. The Ladycats were outscored in the second quarter and were behind at halftime 11-16. The girls won the third quarter and went into the fourth tied 23-23. The Ladycats lost the fourth quarter and fell 32-33 to Winfield. Karlie Kanaga (So.) led the Cats with 9 points on the evening and Lauren Young (So.) led the team with 6 rebounds.

"Progress is ongoing, I feel that we have a group of kids who want to learn and want to improve individually and as a team," said Coach Evers. "In a tough season as far as wins and loses, I was very proud how this group stayed together and fought together down to the last second of the last game."
Teagan Garrison (Fr.) led the Wildcats in scoring this season with 142 points and assists with 33. Kamryn Nolan (Jr.) led the Cats in rebounds with 116 boards. Karlie Kanaga (So.) led the Cats this season in steals with 48.
