The girl's basketball teams hit the road again after a week of tournament play as they traveled to Winfield on Tuesday, February 2nd for a non-league matchup against the Vikings.
The varsity girls were in a good lead through the first three quarters as they went into halftime up 29-20 and into the fourth quarter up 40-31. The Vikings were able to outscore the Cats 17-7 in the fourth quarter and the Cats fell in a heartbreaker 47-48. Teagan Garrison (Fr.) and Karlie Kanaga (So.) both scored in double digits to lead the Cats with 13 and 11 points respectively.

The JV girls had a hard-fought game that ended up in overtime and the Cats were able to outscore the Vikings 11-4 in overtime for the 53-48 win. Kamryn Nolan led the Cats with 13 points on the evening.
