The MMS Girls Basketball games versus Wellington that were originally scheduled for yesterday were postponed so the Wildcats picked up some games against the Kingman Eagles. The 7th-grade girls swept the Eagles with the 7A team winning 36-19 and the 7B team winning 21-10. The 8th-grade girls only had one game and the 8A girls fell to the Eagles 17-34.

* Kylie Schwanke - 14 points
* Kinley Kendrick - 6 points
* Grace Carpenter - 6 points
* Teagan Heersche - 6 points
* Elle Everhart - 4 points

"The A girls got off to a great start scoring 14 points in the first quarter. The girls relaxed a little in the second and third quarters but finished strong in the fourth," said Coach Hansen.

"Kylie Schwanke did a great job looking for her shot tonight," said Coach Hansen as Kylie finished the game with a team-high 14 points. "Schwanke was voted captain by her teammates at the beginning of the season and it was fun to watch her have a big game. Grace Carpenter had another great defensive performance. Her ability to pressure the ball has made most of our opponents uncomfortable. Elle Everhart provided a spark off the bench. We rely on her to come in and provide us with a strong physical inside presence," said Hansen.

* Sadie Williams - 2 points
* Peyton Seibel - 1 point

"The B game looks a little bit different in Kingman they combine their 7th and 8th grade B-girls and have a mixed JV game. The difference in size and strength was a factor from the start. The B game was very physical, but our girls played strong and were up for the challenge. Ellie Willig played a great overall game finishing with 9 points and several steals," said Coach Hansen.

"Kalyn Nolan got her first start in the B game against Kingman. Coach Hargrove and I were happy to see her step into that role and be effective on both offense and defense," said Hansen.

The girls were fairly even in the second half with Kingman, Ellis scored 6 points in the third quarter and Madi Cunningham added a free throw.
