"We played with a much better energy tonight in Haysville. Our goal is to make other teams uncomfortable with our intensity on defense and beat them with our speed on offense. The girls controlled the tempo from the beginning of the game and never let up," said Coach Hansen.

"Kylie Schwanke got in foul trouble in the first quarter which gave us a chance to get some other girls some extra playing time. Grace Carpenter filled her position at point guard and did a great job of commanding the offense and handling Haysville's pressure. This group understands how to move the ball and find their teammates. They are a very unselfish group that doesn't care about who scores as long as we are winning. That unselfish play showed tonight as 8 girls scored in the varsity game," said Coach Hansen.

The B-girls had another nearly perfect defensive performance only allowing 2 points. "Elle Everhart led the way for us in the B game. Everhart ended with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Ellie Willig continues to be a huge contributor for us in the B game. Willig had multiple steals and finished with 9 points. Sadie Williams had a big night in both games scoring 6 points in each game," said Coach Hansen.

We had a great overall team performance in both games. The girls are still learning, but it's fun to see their skills develop and watch them build their chemistry and come together as a team," said Coach Hansen.
