Abasolo receives several All-State awards and an invite to the KS Shrine Bowl. Four more Wildcats earn All-State nods.

All 2023 post-season football awards have been published by various media outlets in the state and the Wildcats had a few players earn All-State recognition. Topping the lists is senior Kaiden Abasolo who earned 4A All-State 1st team honors from the Wichita Eagle for defensive end and from the Kansas Coaches Association and KSHSAA for tight end. Abasolo also earned 4A All-State Honorable Mention from Sports in Kansas and All-Metro 2nd team for defensive end from the Wichita Eagle. Kaiden led the Wildcats in tackles with 72, sacks with 4.5, and tackles for loss with 14. Abasolo also finished with  28 receptions for 343 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Kaiden also was selected for the 51st Kansas Shrine Bowl to be held on Saturday, June 29th, 2024 at Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kansas. Abasolo is the 13th Mulvane player to join an elite list of athletes to participate in the KS Shrine Bowl All-Star Game.

Senior Lucas Sorensen earned 4A All-State Honorable Mention from the Wichita Eagle and KSHSAA for wide receiver. Sorensen led the Wildcats in receptions with 37, yards with 573, and receiving touchdowns with 7.

Junior Fisher Dye earned 4A All-State Honorable Mention from the Wichita Eagle, Sports In Kansas, and KSHSAA for running back. He also earned All-Metro 3rd team from the Wichita Eagle. Dye led the Wildcats in rushing yards with 709 on 134 attempts and had 6 rushing touchdowns.

Senior Austin Vanderhoof earned 4A All-State Honorable Mention and All-Metro 3rd team from the Wichita Eagle as an offensive lineman.

Sophomore Manny Myers earned 4A All-State Honorable Mention from the Wichita Eagle for quarterback. Myers finished the season with 1468 passing yards with 120 completions out of 208 attempts and finished with 13 touchdown passes. Manny also had 578 yards rushing on 111 attempts and 4 rushing touchdowns.
