The baseball team split with the Indians and fell to the Bullpups last week. Look to finish strong against Wellington.

The Mulvane baseball team hosted the Andale Indians in a make-up doubleheader this past Thursday. The Cats jumped out ahead in the second inning with one run and had a monster 6-run inning in the fifth and held on for an 8-1 win. Julien Myers earned the win for Mulvane. He tossed 5.2 innings, giving up one run, six hits, walking one, and four strikeouts. Lucas Sorensen capped the game on the mound with 1.1 innings pitched, giving up zero runs, zero hits, and three strikeouts.

The Wildcats as a team finished with 10 hits in the game. Lucas Sorensen and Tyke Creekmore both had 2 hits to lead the Wildcats. Manny Myers, Julien Myers, Brady Nelson, Garrett Olson, Parker Richardson, and Nolan Fevurly each finished with 1 hit in the game for Mulvane.

The Wildcats finished with 6 RBIs in the game and Lucas Sorensen knocked in 3 runners to lead the Cats in RBIs. Garrett Olson knocked in 2 runners and Brady Nelson finished with 1 RBI for Mulvane. Tyke Creekmore, Manny Myers, and Garrett Olson all had a stolen base for the Cats.

In the nightcap, the Indians scored one run in the first and the Wildcats tied up the game with one run in the sixth inning. Both teams clamped down defensively and the game went another three extra innings. Andale was able to cross four runs in the top of the 10th inning and the Cats fell 1-5.

Nolan Fevurly made the start for the Cats and had a terrific game pitching six innings with a no-hitter and nine strikeouts. The Indians only scored one unearned run on Fevurly. Lucas Sorensen pitched three innings giving up 1 run on two hits and three strikeouts. Parker Clubb pitched 0.2 innings giving up 3 runs on three hits and two strikeouts. Tyke Creekmore faced one batter and got the out to finish off the top of the 10th inning. 

The Wildcats as a team finished with 4 hits in the game with Parker Richardson, Nolan Fevurly, Brady Nelson, and Tyke Creekmore all having 1 hit each for the Wildcats. Julien Myers and Manny Myers both had a stolen base for the Cats.

The Cats made the long drive to McPherson last Monday for their last AVCTL D3 games of the season and the first game was a back-and-forth contest with the lead changing a few times, but the Cats fell 6-9 in the end.

Nolan Fevurly made the start for the Cats and pitched two innings facing fourteen batters, giving up four runs on four hits and three strikeouts. Julien Myers pitched 2.2 innings and gave up five runs on four hits with two strikeouts. Lucas Sorensen pitched 1.1 innings and gave up zero runs on one hit with one strikeout.

The Mulvane Wildcats as a team grabbed seven hits in the game and Parker Richardson went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Wildcats in hits. Lucas Sorensen, Tyke Creekmore, Gavin Wayman, Manny Myers, and Brayden Tatum each had a hit in the game for Mulvane.

The Cats had four RBIs in the game and Parker Richardson knocked in two runners to lead the Wildcats in RBIs. Gavin Wayman and Brayden Tatum also had RBIs for Mulvane.

McPherson jumped out ahead in the nightcap with 8 runs in the first couple innings as the Cats fell 3-10. Parker Clubb made the start for the Cats on the bump for 1.1 innings and faced eleven batters and gave up six runs on four hits and one strikeout. Tyke Creekmore pitched three innings and gave up one run on three hits and one strikeout. Manny Myers pitched 1.2 innings and faced twelve batters, giving up three runs on four hits and two strikeouts.

The Wildcats as a team collected 7 hits in the game with Manny Myers and Garrett Olson both having two hits to lead Mulvane. Tyke Creekmore, Lucas Sorensen, and Nolan Fevurly each had one hit in the game for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats grabbed 3 RBIs in the game with Manny Myers, Lucas Sorensen, and Parker Richardson both all knocking in one run each for Mulvane. Brayden Tatum had the only stolen base for the Cats.
