The Mulvane varsity baseball team traveled to El Dorado on Monday for a Wildcats vs Wildcats doubleheader in a non-league matchup. The Mulvane Wildcats broke open the scoring in the second inning and kept up the pace through out the game, including a 5-run 6th inning, and won 13-5.
Brayden Tatum earned the win for the Mulvane Wildcats. He tossed six and 1/3 innings, giving up five runs, twelve hits, walking one, and 7 strikeouts. Nolan Fevurly came in and pitched 2/3 of one inning to close out the game and had 1 strikeout.
The Mulvane Wildcats as a team collected 8 hits in the game. Parker Richardson went 3-for- 5 at the plate to lead the Mulvane Wildcats in hits. Lucas Sorensen, Parker Richardson, Tyke Creekmore, and Brayden Tatum each collected hits in the game for the Mulvane Wildcats.
The Mulvane Wildcats finished with 7 RBIs in the game. Tyke Creekmore knocked in 3 runners to lead the Mulvane Wildcats in RBIs. Parker Richardson, Tyke Creekmore, Trenton Davis, Nolan Fevurly, and Julien Myers each collected RBIs for the Mulvane Wildcats.
The Mulvane Wildcats stole 6 bases during the game with Lucas Sorensen , Parker Richardson , Tyke Creekmore , and Trenton Davis all grabbing stolen bases.

The Cats struggled at the plate in the nightcap and only mustered up 2 hits and zero runs, falling 0-6 against El Dorado. Parker Richardson and Garrett Olson both grabbed the only hits for Mulvane.
Grey Sanders got the start for the Cats and pitched two and 1/3 innings, giving up four runs, four hits, walking two, and four strikeouts. Julien Myers relieved and pitched three and 2/3 innings, giving up zero runs, zero hits, walking zero, and six strikeouts.

The JV boys took care of business at El Dorado and won both games 5-1 and 13-2. The JV Cats also had a doubleheader with the Rose Hill Rockets on Thursday and split with the Rockets 17-2 and 7-9. The JV boys are sitting at 6-2 on the season and the varsity boys are 3-3 and 2-2 in league play.
