The Cats made the long drive to Buhler, fall in double header to the Crusaders.

The Mulvane baseball team traveled to Buhler last Thursday for an AVCTL D3 doubleheader against the Crusaders. Both teams scored 5 runs in the first two innings and Buhler was able to take the lead in the 4th. The Cats took the 12-8 lead in the 6th inning, but the Crusaders were able to score 8 runs in the bottom half of the inning and hold on for the 16-12 win.

Julien Myers, Brayden Tatum, Lucas Sorensen, and Tyke Creekmore all spent some time on the mound for the Cats. Myers pitched 3 innings, Sorensen 2 innings, Tatum 2/3, and Creekmore 1/3 of an inning.

The Wildcats collected 14 hits in the game. Lucas Sorensen, Parker Richardson, Garrett Olson, Tyke Creekmore, Aiden Heckathorn, Brayden Tatum, and Nolan Fevurly each collected hits in the game for the Wildcats. Lucas Sorensen and Parker Richardson both had 3 hits to lead Mulvane.

The Wildcats collected 12 RBIs in the game. Lucas Sorensen, Parker Richardson, Garrett Olson, Nolan Fevurly, and Trenton Davis each collected RBIs for the Wildcats. Parker Richardson knocked in 5 runners to lead the Wildcats in RBIs.

The JV boys fell in game 1 0-6 to the Crusaders.

Game 2 started off with both teams scoring a couple of runs, but the Crusaders were able to cross 5 runs in the second inning and the Cats had trouble making up ground and fell 5-15.

Nolan Fevurly pitched 2 and 1/3 innings, Parker Clubb pitched 1 inning, and Parker Richardson pitched 2/3 of an inning.

The Mulvane Wildcats collected 3 hits in the game. Tyke Creekmore, Garrett Olson, and Nolan Fevurly each collected hits in the game for the Wildcats. Tyke Creekmore, Garrett Olson, and Nolan Fevurly all had 1 hits to lead the Cats.

The Mulvane Wildcats grabbed 5 RBIs in the game. Nolan Fevurly, Trenton Davis, Parker Clubb, and Aiden Heckathorn each collected RBIs for the Wildcats. Nolan Fevurly knocked in 2 runners to lead the Cats in RBIs.

The JV boys took the second game 8-0 against the Crusaders.
