The Mulvane Winter Homecoming is set for tomorrow, Friday January 17th, 2020. The homecoming court consists of Gabriele Goluboviciute who will be escorted by Gaige Russell, Kylie Runquist who will be escorted by Clement Heck, Carson White who will be escorted by Jaxen Young, and Emily Woods who will be escorted by Chase Milledge.
Emily Woods is the daughter of Mark and Denise Woods. Emily has participated in volleyball, track & field, band, Team Green, StuCo, Kansas Association of Youth (KAY), and National Honor Society (NHS). Her escort Chase Milledge is the son of Shane and Shelly Milledge. He has participated in track & field, NHS, bowling, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), and KAY.
Carson White is the daughter of Jason White and LeeShelle Simon. At MHS, Carson has been involved in volleyball, basketball, soccer, KAY, SADD, NHS, and Circle of Friends. Her escort Jaxen Young is the son of Cori and Ellen Young. He has participated in football, wrestling, and track & field.
Kylie Runquist is the daughter of Sean and Aubrey Haley. She is involved in the Rowdie Crowd Council, StuCo, band, Klassy Kats, and KAY. Her escort Clement Heck is the son of Joel and Tempe Heck. He has participated in cross country, track & field, bowling, KAY, SADD, StuCo, and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
Gabriele Goluboviciute is the daughter of Aliona and Jurijus Goluboviciute of Lithuania. Gabby's host family is Todd and Cara Leeds. Her activities this year include Klassy Kats, StuCo, Forensics, Debate, and the fall musical. Her escort Gaige Russell is the son of Wes and Jennifer Shockey and Justin and Nikke Russell. He has participated in football and wrestling.
The homecoming theme this week has been "Lights, Camera, Action!". The daily themes are as follows:
* Monday: Inside Out Day (dress your emotions)
* Tuesday: Disney Day
* Wednesday: De Ja Vu Day (throwback day)
* Thursday: Dodgeball Day (favorite sports attire)
* Friday: Green & White Day.
The basketball teams will host Rose Hill tomorrow for the homecoming games.
