The Mulvane Volleyball team has concluded the 2019 season and held their annual banquet. Senior libero Callie Humbolt cracked the record board with 276 digs on the season, besting the old record of 231 by Addison Seier that was set last season. Senior Alexis Abasolo finished with 248 digs on the season. Freshman Karlie Kanaga, Senior Carson White, and Junior Haley Chambers all had over 100 digs with 174, 156, and 151 respectively.
Abasolo led the team in kills and kill percentage with 228 and 29.7%. White finished with 136 kills (26.6%) and Kanaga had 118 kills (23.0%), and Freshman Emily Schmidt finished with 65 kills (28.6%). Lexie also lead the team in completed serves with 337 (92.3%) followed by Carson with 256 (90.5%), senior Emily Hankins with 235 serves (92.5%), Chambers with 210 (87.9%), and Kanaga with 200 (88.1%).

The Varsity letterer's this year were seniors Carson White (4 year letterer), Alexis Abasolo (4 year letterer), Callie Humbolt (3 year letterer), and Emily Hankins (2 year letterer). Juniors Adlin Sanford (2 year letterer) and Haley Chambers (1st year lettering). Sophomores Addison Whisler (1st year lettering), Tatum Heershe (1st year lettering), and Legend Bell (1st year lettering). Freshman earning their first letters were Karlie Kanaga and Emily Schmidt.
The Cats finished the season at 8-29 and 1-9 in league play and hope to build on that next season with the underclassmen coming up. The JV finished the season at 8-18 and the freshman finished at 14-14 on the season. The 8th grade team that will be coming up to MHS next year finished 10-6.
