Mulvane Offensive Linemen standouts Chase Hansen and David Kraft have been selected to the KCAC All Decade Team (2004-2013)

Mulvane Offensive Linemen standouts Chase Hansen and David Kraft have been selected to the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) All Decade Team (2004-2013). This team was published by Robert Brennecke (Assistant Commissioner of the KCAC). The KCAC consists of the following team: Bethel, Bethany, Friends, Kansas Weslayan, McPherson, Ottawa, Saint Mary, Sterling, Tabor, and Southwestern.

Chase Hansen (MHS-2004), who was selected to First Team All League (unanimous) his senior year at Mulvane, continued his football career at Bethel College. Chase played all 4 years of his college career at Bethel where he was a four-time all-conference offensive lineman, twice being selected to the first team, and also a two-time All-American. Chase stayed in the football scene after college and became an Offensive Lineman coach and Offensive Coordinator at Bethel from 2008-11 (where he coached his younger brother Charlie Hansen). Chase is currently the OL coach and Offensive Coordinator at Sterling college, where he's been since 2012.

David Kraft (MHS-2008), who was selected to First Team All League his senior year at Mulvane as well as First Team All State (Wichita Eagle and KS Coaches Assn.), continued his football career at McPherson College. David played all 4 years of his college career at McPherson where he was a three-time first team all-conference Center, a one-time All-American, was selected to the Capital One Academic All-District 6 College Division Football Team, and was selected to the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete List his senior year. After college, David decided to serve his country and enlisted into the Marine Corps. David completed his 10-week training course at Officer Candidates School at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA in September of 2013.  David is currently station at Quantica, VA and is waiting for transfer orders to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
