The Mulvane boys basketball hosted the Andale Indians in a league matchup on Tuesday, February 11th at Mulvane High School. The Wildcats couldn't quite keep up with the Indians and the three teams were swept, 55-83 for the varsity, 49-60 for the JV, and 40-56 for the C-Team.
The Wildcats came out strong in the 1st quarter and pretty much matched the Indians 19-20. The 2nd quarter was pretty even as well with the Cats behind 11-13 and down 30-33 at halftime. The third quarter is when the Indians went on fire, specifically Easton Hunter (#5) who scored 17 points by himself, and the Indians outscored the Cats 31-8. The 4th quarter was even again at 17-19 but the Cats fell 55-83.
Trey Abasolo led the Cats with 24 points and Ian Comer finished with 11 points, Gager Gerlach finished with 7 points, Canon Smith with 5 points, Mason Ellis and Luke Coffey both with 3 points, and Aaron Ballinger with 2 points. Comer and Smith both led the team in rebounds with 5 each. Michael Manis was absent due to illness.

The JV boys were pretty much even with the Indians with a 10-11 first quarter but fell behind with an 8-15 second quarter and went into halftime down 18-26. The Cats won the third quarter 18-17 but couldn't maintain the momentum in the fourth and fell 49-60.
Ian Comer led the Cats with 10 points and Aaron Ballinger and Tyson Lazier both dropped in 9 points each. Mason Ellis finished with 8 points, Sam Westfall with 6 points, Canon Smith with 4 points, Trent Billingslea with 2 points, and Julien Myers with 1 point.

The C-team boys weren't too far behind the Indians in the first half with a 10-14 first quarter and 14-18 second quarter as the Cats trailed 24-32 at halftime. The 3rd quarter didn't help the Cats as the Indians outscored them 15-7. The 4th quarter was even 9-9 and the Cats fell 40-56.
Julien Myers led the Wildcats with 12 points, Sam Westfall finished the game with 8 points, Ethan Kasparek finished the game with 6 points, Christian Duranleau and Jacob Duncan both finished with 4 points each, Easton Groth finished with 2 points, and Ethan Tharp scored 1 point.
