The Mulvane Middle School girls basketball traveled to Prairie Hills last Thursday for the opening Patriot League matchup.

The 8A team had a spectacular come from behind win in the 4th quarter led by Teagan Garrison to defeat Prairie Hills 16-13. Highlight of the evening was PH being held to one point in the second half. “We finally loosened up a bit in the second half and our shots started going in the basket”, Coach Banzet said. "Once we had a few shots fall, then our confidence level went up and our defense got better. Looking forward to playing at home next week."

Garrison led the team with 8 points with Addison Mackay and Madison Shaw both scoring 4 points each.
