Anna Moon and Campbell Williams earned medals at the Trinity Invitational Cross Country Meet

The Mulvane Wildcat Cross Country team participated in the Trinity Invitational the past Saturday and the Women's team finished in 5th place with 114 Points (6, 14, 22, 34, 38) and juniors Anna Moon and Campbell Williams came home with some hardware as Anna finished in 6th place with a 21:33 time (6:56 mile average) and Campbell finished in 14th place with a 22:37 time (7:16 mile average).

Senior Emily Hankins finished in 24th place with a 23:11 time (7:27 mile avg) followed by sophomore Kaitlyn Frieden in 37th place with a 24:01 (7:43 mile avg), senior Josie Russell in 41st place with a 24:21 time (7:50 mile avg), sophomore Kamryn Nolan in 59th place with a 26:30 time (8:32 mile avg), and senior Karstyn Nolan in 61st place with a 26:34 time (8:33 mile avg).

3. Augusta - 105 Points
4. Andover - 111 Points
5. Mulvane - 114 Points
6. Andover Central - 120 Points
7. Towanda-Circle - 145 Points

The Men's team finished in 11th place and freshman Chris Dietrich led the Cats in 28th place with a 18:56 time (6:05 mile avg) followed by junior Kyle Jones in 51st place with a 19:54 time (6:24 mile avg), sophomore Victor Salazar in 63rd place with a 20:26 time (6:34 mile avg), senior Justus Kidd in 64th place with a 20:27 time (6:35 mile avg), senior Robby Brown in 82nd place with a 21:47 time (7:00 mile avg), and senior Clement Heck in 89th place with a 22:42 time (7:18 mile avg).

The Wildcats will participate in the AVCTL D4 League meet this Thursday, October 17th at El Dorado with the races kicking off at 4:00 PM.
