Morgan Dial and Morgan Mitchell senior leaders of the Mulvane Women's Golf Team

Morgan and Morgan may be a nation wide law firm, but in Mulvane, KS, Morgan and Morgan (Dial & Mitchell) lead the 2017 Women's Golf team to a couple of All League spots and a trip to state. The pair turned in the best score cards in every tournament this season for the Wildcat varsity team and they both earned All League 2nd Team honors at the AVCTL Division 4 League Tournament.
Morgan Dial participated in four 9-hole tournaments and five 18-hole tournaments with the following scores:

Mitchell's best performance was at Cheney where she turned in an 84 on the scorecard and missed the school record (82 by Locke & Magee) by 2 strokes. * Mitchell scored a 98 at the AVCTL League tournament for a 12th place finish and earned All League 2nd team honors. ** At Regionals, Morgan turned in a 98 on her scorecard for 12th place in the tournament. With the placement shifts after the players who were part of teams that qualified, Morgan finished with 4th place and an invite to the state tournament.
*** Mitchell finished the state tournament with a score of 93 and 14th place, which earned her a state medal.
The rest of the Women's Golf team are young with 3 sophomores and 1 freshman Coach Headrick is looking forward to the next couple years and hoping to develop some more All League and possibly state qualifying golfers.
