Tuesday October 4 was a setback for the boys soccer team dropping their 11th game of the season against Buhler, 10-0.
“Losing 10-0 to a team we beat last year, stung a lot. It definitely took us back a bit and I knew we could play better than we did. We’ll definitely play better next time.” Said Sr. Captain, Braxton Neptune.
The team took in the loss and used it to work on the things they needed to improve and the things that they struggled with during games so far this season.
After the game we showed up to the next practice ready to work on the stuff we struggled with hoping to improve our skills and win our last few games this year.” Said Neptune
Coming close to the end of the season the cats are currently 3-8 compared to the end of last season where the team finished 5-13.
With four games left this year everyone on the team hopes to bring their record up and improve for next year.
“I think we will finish our season strong winning at least 3 out of the four games we have left in the season.” Said Neptune.
