Only being 3 weeks into the season, the volleyball team has had a good start while the Varsity team had a third place finish, ending with a score of 2-1 at the Ark City tournament on Saturday September 10, and thus far having 5 wins and 8 losses.
“At first it was a rough start to the season and needed to figure out what we were going through but we are doing better.” Said So. Keera Parks.
All of the teams have been working hard to get closer and make their bond stronger to play better as a team.
“The goals we have as a team are to get closer and work together better as a team. We are going to use encouragement and build each other up.” Said Fr. Carson White.
The teams have already started to show some progress with their team building.
“This years team is doing really good on positivity and working together. As a team we are trying to work together and keeping positive attitudes and hopefully win.” Said Parks.
The girls are working hard to end the season with more wins on the court and in the books.
The Varsity team hopes to go to state at the end of the season.
The returning player have welcomed the new ones with open arms and worked with them to help make everyone better.
“My favorite thing about being in volleyball is getting to know everyone.” Said White.
