Andrew Berry selected to the NJCAA Region VI All-Region Baseball Team

    Former Mulvane Wildcat Andrew Berry (2014) finished up his last season with the Hesston Larks Baseball team as they ended with a 21-36 season record. Seven of the Larks were named to the NJCAA Region VI All-Region baseball team including Andrew who was selected to the 1st Team for first base. Berry made an appearance in 51 of the 58 games in the 2016 season. He finished the season hitting 0.266 with 6 doubles, 26 RBIs, and 6 home runs.

    Berry was also one of the 44 students on the Spring 2016 Dean's List at Hesston, awarded to Sophomores and upperclassmen. Andrew finished with a 4.0 GPA.

    Andrew was a 2-year starter at Mulvane 2013 & 2014 and was part of the two consecutive league championship teams and the 2012 state tournament team. He was a two time All League recipient with a 2nd team bids in 2013 and 2014 for catcher. He ended his Mulvane baseball career with a 0.353 batting average, 47 hits, and 26 RBIs.

Andrew plans to continue his college baseball career and has signed to play at the University of Saint Mary.
