Simon, Benefiel, and Temple all sign to play soccer with Southwestern College

Three Mulvane seniors signed their college athletic letters of intent to play soccer at Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. 

Matt Temple and Sean Benefiel signed to play mens soccer and Rylee Simon signed to play womens soccer.

Temple, who plays goalie, had a career season with 500 plus saves with 45 career starts. He also holds the highest goalie save percentage, highest saves in a season and in a single game with 40 stops vs. Rose Hill. He was nominated twice in his career for all AVCTL honorable mention.

Benefiel lead the Wildcats with 14 goals and 4 assists this season, Benefiel finished his sophomore campaing with an all AVCTL honorable mention and folowed that up with a second team all AVCTL selection in his senior campain.

Simon will be a probable team captain for the upcoming soccer season for the Wildcats. As a forward, Simon scored 16 goals with 3 assists a season ago. She is a two time all AVCTL 1st team forward.
