Lady Bowlers with the Regionals Runner Up Trophy
Breaking Records, League Title, All League placements. Mulvane Bowling had a great 2015 Season.

The pins just were not cooperating for the Mulvane Bowling team at the Kansas State Bowling Tournament last Thursday at Northrock Lanes. The Mulvane Lady Bowlers grabbed 10th place in State with a team series score of 1980 (Topeka West came in first place with a score of 2258).

Individually, Maddison Osenbaugh left with a State Medal by finishing 20th place out of the 96 participants (the top 20 qualify for a State Medal). Maddison led the Wildcats with a series score of 527, followed by Larissa Ester (495 - T32nd Place), Kiley White (472 - 43rd Place), Megan Ruyle (463 - 48th Place), Kaitlyn Gile (457 - T49th Place), and Hannah Burget (428 - 66th Place).  On the boys side, Matt Temple participated individually for Mulvane and ended with a series score of 551 (67th place).

Overall the Mulvane Bowling team had a great 2015 season with several school records broken, 9 bowlers making the All League Teams, the girls taking first place in league, the boys landing second place in league, and the trip to State for the girls and Matt Temple.

Coach Lance Heath was very pleased with the season overall:  "I am very proud of what our bowlers accomplished this year and the way that they represented Mulvane, MHS and MHS Bowling.   I saw a lot of positive things during the season and I know that this wasn't the end of the season that the girls were looking forward to; but I admire their tenacity in their bowling.  Even though pins weren't falling well at times, they never gave up on themselves or each other."
